Will I ever….

…..truly return to the world of blogging?

Hm, I am not sure.. Haha! but i might, i just might.

Well, its the 31st January and I am on my second last day of holiday. Mixed feelings abt going back to uni. Haha!

Anyway, I haven been doing much for the past month just that i think i watched like a gazillion tv shows every single day. I won’t be surprised if my vision decreased in strength.

I got 2 babies…

the first,

Astro_nusantara_remote

Astro… haha… Yea i know, i am probably the last person on the planet to own this…

So far, I have watched so many cool documentaries and programs. Most of all, Disney channel! wahahah...

and second, just arrived yesterday and goes by the name of Wren…. its..

nintendo-wii-console

I kinda played it for till late at night and now i have this aching dull pain running from my shoulders all the way to my fingers…

But gosh, it is pure awesome fun. Now, I really dont want to leave home for uni. Not now. :’(

*******************

On another note, during holidays i visited a centre that offers classes to special needs children. I went for 2 days.

And it was so fun and interesting to be there. Volunteers to that centre function as teacher aides and basically we take care of one child and makes sure she/he understand what is taught as well as to carry out their duties as assigned to them.

I fell in love with everybody there cause they we all so sweet and nice and so so so darn adorable!

Ok then, I guess thats all.

See ya. *Muax*

For IMU Wellness Group A….

Hey guys… Dyan here.

****************************************

For those who have yet to go for the interview, Dr.Annie does not want to schedule another session. So u guys are lucky! Unless u have some pressing issues u need to discuss with her, inform me and i will make sure she sees u.:D You guys just need to submit what is written below there to me. :D

****************************************

I am so sorry for the fuss and trouble but here is a rough idea of what u guys need to pass up to me by this Thursday 1030am.

Firstly, The Journal.

You have to ensure that is it completely filled up with ink pen. Those that u can which includes the immunisation, family medical history, anthropometry, dietary assessment, physical fitness, lifestyle and lastly the stress. The Dental stuff can be left out.

Secondly, Wellness Report.

Make sure u have ur name, title and ID no. there.

IMG_5934

Thirdly, Data Sheet.

Make sure u have ur name, title and ID no. there.

Follow the exact format as below…

If you have given Dr.Annie ur data sheet already, you dun have to give me another one.

IMG_5933

Fourth, your Diet Calculations..

Make sure there is your name, title and ID No.

It has to be of a 3-day diet plan.

Include what u eat with serving size and calories. And total calories at the end of the day.

For example…

IMG_5932

And lastly, your genogram.

Make sure u have ur name, title and ID no.

Genogram must be neat and tidy. Preferably with colour.

Legends must be provided with the usage of symbols and also to indicate gender no matter how obvious the gender is.

IMG_5930

Notes : -

-None of these papers, except for the journal, should be handwritten in anyway. All has to be printed.

-Each papers are individual. No such thing as printing both the diet and genogram on one sheet of paper.

-Please staple the genogram, diet and report together.

- If still unsure of what to do, please contact me.

-I hate this as much as u do.

-And, this are specifications given by Dr.Annie. Its up to u if u want to follow or not.

-Other than this post, please ignore this abandoned blog….haha..

Thank you so much for being patient and cooperative. Love you guys!

Untitled

No title. Just a measly update. haha…

Well, i shifted in Vista last Sunday. I got a few pics but then i am lazy to load… My housemates are super awesome. MIchelle is great! (I just realise i never took a pic with her b4)

Laving is vista is pretty fun. I dun need to plan ahead when i should leave to uni or from uni. It’s relaxing. And i have more time to do more stuff.

I joined a pretty good load of clubs. There are Milers, First Aid, Catholic Student Society, Swimming (AL forced me). There are a lot more i wish to join but i dun think i can commit to so many.. Sigh.

I was up at 330 am yesterday to serve as a medic in The Run for the Nation (RUNNAT). It’s a Christian run. There are 25 routes each with 8 teams running 5km each. Prayers are said throughout the whole run. The event ended at around noon. and i went home to take a nap before meeting up with Teresa & Sandra.

Holidays are over….

…which makes me happy and sad at the same time.

Come let me tell u how i spent my holidays (other than visiting Melaka).

I ate, slept, bath, ate, slept & watch show. The whole week.

I did absolutely nothing about my studies or AIR topic or exercising.

Just today i start to print tmr lecture’s notes. I know, perfect student right?

Anyway from 23rd Sept or 24th, Malaysian timing, the World Women Open for squash started and there is this darling website that gives live streaming.

Today's the finals and guess who won?

Nicol

Hehe… 1st runner-up is Natalie Grinham and 2nd runner-ups were Rachel Grinham and Alison Waters.

Great match between Natalie who won the first game. It was so close and anyone could have won. Glad it was Nicol.

1 week of holidays…

…..begun with a trip to Melaka on Saturday. I just got back today.

I ate so much! WAY WAY WAY too much.

My fav. food i ate there was Prawn Sambal( Portuguese Dish)

IMG_5313

It is seriously good.

I basically did nothing but eat.

I went there with Daddy and Mummy…

IMG_5307

Yes, they dun ever smile in photos too.

**********************

I dun really know how to spend the rest of my holidays. But i do have tennis tmr and volleyball the next. Anyone wants to go out? I am bored.. :P

**********************

It’s been a while since i wrote. So a few updates is that erm, I have joined Infinity Milers. It’s a running and mountain climbing club in IMU. Last wed was the first training. It was really really fun. We ran in groups and ran for almost 2 km non-stop. I never thought i could run that far… haha… Yes, my fitness level is this low…

But, it has been a dream of mine to take part in a marathon one day. :D

I have found a place at Vista(the apartment in front of IMU) and might be moving next month. I will be staying there Mon-Fri. Cause travelling up and down is too tiring and such a hassle.

And because i will be moving i can’t bring Ariel(my desktop) with me. So my Daddy bought me a laptop just a while ago.

 IMG_5326

Here it is! I named it Flounder. Or Flo for short.

Yes ler, I love Little Mermaid… haha… :P

Yep, this is pretty much all that has happened.

How I wish it wasn’t over…

Orientation is officially over guys….

Serious stuff begins tomorrow..

Before that, let me tell you of my experiences…

Firstly, I would like to gladly announce that Knigh7 got 2nd placing out of 12 groups. And I got to meet a lot of great friends. Amrit, Sheng Giap, Guo Wai, Ying Yang, Michelle, Ian, Xin Yi, Greg, Xiu Hue,Huey Yuan, Wei Xiang, Ying Yang, Sara, Vimal, Jonathan and the seniors – Chee Yuan, Li Qing, Tung Meng, Tony, Yun Teng, Yew Chuan, Clarissa, Xiu Jun, Shalini, Guan Teck, Li Hoong, Li Zhen, Pei Li, E Li and Jonathan.  Thank you guys so much for making my first 2 weeks the most happy possible. I do hope our friendship continues.( I am sorry if i missed out any names, just wanna let you know that i am grateful)

There were loads of activities that I really enjoyed… Like Outdoor Treasure Hunt, Telematch, Track Trip, Signature Hunt, Variety Night and Finale Night.

On outdoor Treasure Hunt, I fell when being chased by the Dark Knight and got this nasty cut.. Wahahahah!!!!

IMG_5018

During Telematch, we got Nona Juice splashed on us. It stinks like mad. I got muddy and so extremely tired…

Track Trip was fun. We were given task to do in Times square, BB Plaza and Pavillion.

IMG_5038

One of the task, we posed like in the G.I Joe poster… HAha!!

IMG_5033

Signature Hunt was collecting signatures from seniors. But before they sign, we are to do task they ask. Like, doing group cheer in chipmunk voice, telling our secrets, spelling out names using ourselves, dancing a indian dance and many more… but the most interesting was this… I call the Human Bridge…

IMG_5065

Variety Night was basically a night where all groups perform a live sketch. Each were given a movie theme. And Group 7 was ‘Titanic’. We did pretty well considering we only rehearsed on the day itself. And there was a dance. I was one of the dancers. I DANCED!!! (like a robot….) but still I danced!! You can collect your lower jaw now…

Finale Night was just a closing to orientation and announcement of results.

The First 3 days …

…of orientation is so far pretty awesome.

On Monday, we got registered, get our temporary id tags, photo for ID taken and we get sorted into our houses. Houses as in like the ones in secondary school. For sports. Ai Ling and Rui En and I are in Hydra House. That is green.

The IMU Cup which is a big hu-ha sports event in IMU that spreads over 2 months that happens annually. AL and I just main-main put volleyball as the sport of interest. And we were called to train at 830pm. IT was…. er….. lets just say that the seniors won’t be calling me back… Haha!!

Tuesday, we had a big orientation ice-breakers. Firstly, we had orientation grouping. I am in Group 7 which we called ourselves Knigh7. The ice-breakers are extremely fun. There were 6 stations to visit. And by the end of it, around 10.30pm, i was covered in ink, eggs, flour, soap, weird icky jelly and dye.

Today was nothing much… just group meetings and first aid classes.

A New Start

In exactly 3 hours, I am officially a university student.

A new chapter in my life will be unfolded.

I am glad that quite a few of my college classmates will be there.

I have weird feeling about going to uni. I could just describe it as happy, sad and excited.

I pray to the Lord to give me the strength and courage to continue this journey we all call life.

Rock-climbing with AL…

The lunch with college peeps was cancelled. So, Iwent out for lunch with Ai Ling at Chilis in One Utama.

We ordered Country Fried Chicken and Mushroom Jack.

There was a corn in which AL cut into half… The whole table vibrated…

We ate until there were a few strips of meat and a huge lump of mashed potatoes. AL decided to play a game of ‘Scissors, Paper, Stone’. Whoever losses eats either a strip of meat or one mouthful of mashed potatoes.

The last 5 mouthfuls of Potaoes….

Then we went rock-climbing together with AL’s cousin, Ben for about an hour and a half… So tiring but so fun.
